Hot Weather and Hot Field

Had to cover the back of my neck, or I would have burned it again...My ears did not fair well though...I can feel the burn...I met another hunter on the School yard where I went this afternoon...We chatted for a bit, then he left the field to me...Had a fun relaxing day in the sunshine...Found an old toy car from England, and a 1943 Steel cent and a 1952 Wheat...This field is heavily fertilized, so I am surprised the steely is as good as it is...It does have a wierd rim though...almost like a buzz saw...The Ambulance was about 6 inches deep...Have no idea how old it is, but they don't make anbulances that shape anymore...Bottom says Lomas Ambulance - Made in England...Also found the 3 oz sinker at 5 inches deep. The wheats were at about 6"...I switched between the 2 DDs today...

thats one of the nicest Steelies I've ever seen, considering it came from the ground. Great job! :)

Nice hunt, GoGo! I haven't found a steel penny yet. Cool ambulance, too.
