Hot Summer Silver

AJ in PA

Member
With temperatures near 90 metal detecting probably wasn't on the the list of things to do today for most but
I love the summer months and hunt when others stay inside. I went to an old ball field and spent a few hours there.
Running the Andy S pattern and sens @ manual 27 did a nice job with the deep coins. The 17 Merc was a real choppy signal with a
ferrous number of 20. The Seated dime and the 23 Merc were smooth signals, both about 6 inches deep.
Stay cool everyone and Happy Hunting.

that's a sweetie of a seatie....!!!!!!! too hot here, 100, so I've shut er down for awhile

Beautiful seated Dime. Congratulations on the finds and way to stick out the heat! Thanks for the pictures.

AJ, that's a beauty of a seated! Looking closely at the "S", I think it may be a Breen 3451, large "S" over small. Very rare. BUT, it needs to be evaluated by an expert who can actually examine it, not from a picture.
Very nice find!!!

That's a great looking Seated - congrats on all the finds !

Very nice find!!!

Thanks so much for the heads up on the Seated. I'll have it checked and report back if it turns out to be a Breen 3451.
