Hot spots cooled off but managed a couple more including a half dime !

This morning Park Pirate and I hit my hot spot where I dug the nickel 3 cent piece a couple of days ago. Looked promising when Tony's first target was a buffalo nickel. Then things went cold and we dug nothing but pull tabs, beaver tails and other assorted garbage.... After a few hours we crossed the street to a different section of the park where I had some luck in the past. In an area where I dug a super Barber dime last year I got a deep, high pitched target that hit on the smart screen a little lower that a silver dime. Dug down about 6-7 inches and pulled out what I thought was a bent play coin. Removed some dirt and saw lady liberty taking a seat and was pleasantly surprised. Only other old coin I dug all morning was a lone wheat penny. When I got home I took some pictures of the half dime before I attempted to straighten it out. I placed it in some boiling water to try to soften the silver then carefully hammered it between 2 pieces of wood. I got it to where I was happy with the results and stopped before doing too much damage to it. Nice little 1857. First seated liberty coin of the year ! The civil war token was found yesterday, not far from where I dug the 1865 3 center...
