Hot spot

Went back to my little hot spot this morning, when I arrived it was pouring down with rain. I almost turned around to go back home, but I decided to get in my wet suit and go hunt in the water, glad I did! I found 5.10 Euro, some lire, 4 silver rings and a beautiful 18 k gold ring. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

Ciao,
may I ask if you noticed an encrease in your ring findings during this season?
Cheers

Hi,
no, I'm far from Aviano. I live in Perugia, so I move to the east coast whenever I can.
During winter I usually search on dry/wet sand but only on the beach and just after consulting wave height and direction data. I found a trick to maximize findings during winter (see my huge findings in January) by studing wave data instead of losing time walking around. I just get out when coins are there.
I'm very good at finding coins, less skilled with rings.
Weather is getting warmer and I'm about to start water search again.
I see you're finding very old rings, so you must be on a very good spot.
Unfortunately in my area competition is increasing and I have to make a lot of homework to guess the best time and place to search to beat it.
I wish we could meet for a beer someday. If you come inland andvise me!
Cheers
Luca
