Camera again. The first picture should be of the Face plate Top left, toggle switch..all metal / discrimination.Down to frequency shift.Down to Ground Balance. Red button is pin point button.Big dial is discrimination setter.Up from there is sensitivity, and, above that Threshold..Second picture shows Dave's battery pack modification, as well as the new position for the Black Widow phones to hook into..This would not be a detector to steal, and show up where Tesoro guys hang out..............If it gets above freezing, may take a walk , but no making holes in the frozen turf, cordially Nad

Nice. That battery pack should help balance things too!

I am getting close to an assembly I like for balancing. I'll post when I get it right.

Hay Nad,

Ya didn't mention tha arm cup extensions
for tha change in balance.

I like tha idea of a larger disc knob.

I'm gonna lOOk around for one.

It would be more comfey and closer ta my
thumb.

What's tha maxanume RPM's now????

Now, Don't cha go Red Line-in it right off
tha bat......LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOL

Thanks fer showin,

Tabdog

All the mods were done by Dave, and then Sven.....Dave did the battery pack.Large dial, earphone jack extension, cuff modification,, and a different pin pointer that was covered.Sven added the ten turn pot for me..Thinking of a sheath to house the custom made digger Tab Dog is going to sell me...We'll call it" The Tab Dog Gopher"..When I measured the nickel distance, I sure thought I had 15 inches looking down.Even so,if I don't lose that much in soil, 11 is still too much to dig.Cordially NAD

You are right.....Tejon on eBay, Buy it now is $559.00 free shipping...My "Vaquero",a 3 by 18 clean sweep coil, and the four pin new 5.75 concentric, which I swore I'd never buy(it arrived today) totaled up ,Wait, add in Seven's work, total $400 .00 EVEN. That Extra $159 went towards the Silver UMax, new off EBay. Bought a 5.75" concentric for the Silver(also arrived today)..Don't want jealous detectors you know.....And, I also took more advice and got a pair of used Black Widow phones..Total amount for everything App $670.oo...So, regardless of who, from the Mighty Tab Dog, TVR, Dave, Mr Bill..I listen, make notes and eventually do it.With the three coils for the V, I'll be able to generate numbers that may be of use to someone, same with the Silver ,comparing stock coil, 5.75, and a 4 inch.. Hmmm... could have just bought a Tejon........

Greg

Hi,
I've both "three Amigos" (Cibola-Vaquero-Tejon) and can assure that the first two performs really better than Tejon on hot grounds.
So i think that it is legit to try to transform a Cibola or a Vaquero in a mini-Tejon.
Best regards,
Ale
