can some someone please explain the down fall with useing the 4500 minelab and HOT ROCKS i live in Oregon this seems to be a real issue with people i have talked to that have the 4000 minelab and go and hunt Nevada,cal ,Arizona , very few people hunt in southern Oregon and its supposed to have lots of really good gold hunting here ,,thank you ,troy
 
go over to the azoutback forum and ask Montana Bob Dansie...you might consider rewriting your question so your query is clear...I think it would be an unusual area that the 4500 will not be able to handle...

Well, I'll have to go along with Fred on this one. Your question is not clear as to what you want to know. The 4500 can easily tune out hot rocks so that's not an issue. However, if you are going to respond to someone trying to help you with an attitude like this, then you won't get any help from anyone, here, on other forums, or in the field. Good luck.
