Cool! I love finding nickels 'cause it means there's a good chance of finding gold there too. I like the ring also. Great coin run!:clapping:

Wow...either no one has hit that spot, or they had their DISC turned way too high...
That's over half a roll...
The ATs LOVE nickels...

HH,

Grasshopper, you have mastered the nickel pickup. (say that 5 times fast). :drinking:

I've hunted this place 20-30 times this year with the AT Pro in Zero no DISC......and it gets hit hard by others. It's Penny Park.....it's super-super- super trashy with beaver-tail pull tabs and bottle caps, and can slaw. I took the same property and ultra slowed it down to just about a 2 foot swing with the AT Gold Disc 1 with the the first 40 Disc'd, GB 33, Iron Audio off to get the first 26 nickels. I was set up to hunt a mid 1800's house, but stayed on the nickels because I haven't found any gold there and if it were it should have just surrendered yesterday........

The nickels were in their "WET" electrified mode, jumping all over the place from 53-55-52-51 with a low 60 thrown in as the coil passed over doing the DD waddle, instead of the classic 53-52-53 everybody looks for on the AT Pro. The pulltabs were holding pretty steady on their VDI so I dug signals doing the "wild thang." The only thing that came off as a classic was the "heart"........most nickels were 2-3 inches down. The AT Gold VDI's about 2 numbers higher on mine, than the AT Pro...AT Gold quarters running 88-89-90. where the AT Pro quarters fell in the 85-86-87 range..

Most of the coins in the picture came from another site. I left Penny Park with 26 nickels when the school kids started arriving, and went to the concession stand area of the maize maze that I hunted Sunday. Just looked at the entrance to the maze and there was a sign that said --------> concession stand........most of the coins + 3 nickels came from that area in about 2 hours.

She's being used as a door stop right now........: :rofl:

They are all cheap and made out of aluminum, which is can be actually toxic and shouldn't be worn at all! The salt from your pores oxidizes the aluminum, which can get absorbed through your skin. Not good :nono:
