HOT :detecting:TIP: 1947 Class Ring lost in 1948 in Indiana

I get a magazine called Reminisce. Here is one of the story's. Looks like someone lost a 1947 class ring in 1948 in a cornfield in or near Tell City, Indiana. Maybe you could get a hold of the author and see if you can get a location and find it.

I watch the lost and found in my local papers. The last add read. "Lost - One large gold chain with two gold rings on it. One ring has a large diamond. It really means a lot to me so the reward will be generous. Lost next to the Hotel." I just happen to be working about 5 blocks from there. So I drove by there and there is nothing but concrete. I'm sure someone else is wearing all that jewelry.

If I lived in Indiana I would give it a try....
