I am here in Eastern Pa.99* to 103*. The bugs aren't even out!!!! The soil is so dry and hard, that down at the tool rental store,i saw and earth worm trying rent a jackhammer !!!!!!! No lie>

SW NY is hot and dry too. Grass, plants, etc are drying up and turning brown. Supposed to rain later, maybe. There were street-wide yard sales, an annual event with hundreds upon hundreds turning up. Yesterday there was almost no one there and the homeowners packed it up early. And it is just plain too hot and the ground too hard to dig, so what is a detectorist to do? :surrender:

With some fear of condescension, I recall a post earlier about how cold, wet, and miserable it was in your neck of the woods. Just what part of the year do you like?

Been a-haulin water to the chickens 3 times a day. Got fans blowin in both doors.

Warm up here to ,but not as warm as down south.
Been detecting in the water neck deep ,good way to cool off and find the goodies::cool:

Starting to cool off here after being 100 plus for a few days. Our normal summer weather is in the 70's and 80's with no humidity.
