Hot and dry!

Nick A

New member
Noticed almost everything the past two days has been hitting a number or two higher than usual. The only thing different is the soil is dry. Amazing what a week without rain will do.

Tried going out at 10:00 and 3:00, just too hot and humid for me. Found a shady school spot around 5:00 and gave it a go. Got the 1948S quarter DEEP in the same hole as a 1965 quarter got me stoked (and happy the dry weather didn't seem to be killing depth), then just a few wheats and memorials. Still keeping in the shade on the edge of the field, hit the 1941 dime. Then the sun finally went low enough and the clouds covered it and I worked more of the field with no better results than a few more clad.

Yesterday after work, got out sweating for a bit and got a silver ring, an odd aluminum ring, a copper "JUN" printing/embossing plate, Sunoco token and 1942 dime from two different sites.

Just on a side note if anyone has a 10x12 SEF or Pro coil for sale, please let me know.
