Horseshoe Bay Volleyball Tournament

I got out for the 0950 low tide at Horseshoe Bay this morning, winds out of the west so I expected calm seas and good hunting. I arrived to find a volleyball tournament setting up, few people in the water and perfect hunting conditions except for the neck strain from all of those bikinis bouncing around.;)

The water was 75 F and calm, so I got right to work, unfortunately conditions were sanded in and there were few targets. The scenery was beautiful though and I had a nice 2 hour hunt with a .925 earring from thialand as the only prize for today. Just as I was winding up the hunt I got a tone that said heinkenen bottle top but that's not always so, I dug it anyways. "What did you find?" came a sweet feminine voice over my shoulder and I turned to find a cute 20 something blonde leaning over me to see what I'd found. She started chatting me up and then she stepped in really close and adjusted her pigtails in the mirror lens of my polarized sunglasses, she was about 3 inches from my nose. 'Damn, I'm getting hit on' I thought to myself and then her 3 girlfriends showed up and she gave me a smile and scooted off with them. I didn't even have the presence of mind to ask them to pose for a digger picture, I must be getting old or perhaps I'm just very happily married to the greatest gal in the world.

This little guy followed me around for almost an hour waiting for tidbits to get stirred up by my coil or scoop.

Which Hurricane BH? Fabian? or Florence? If it was Fabian than it could be anywhere, it hit CAT4 at the peak of the storm, anonemeter blew away at 185kmh. :yikes:
I saw a nice silver Roots watch get pulled out of the wetsand a week ago. I have had very little success with watches but things change. I'll keep my eyes open and could ask around amongst the few other hunters on the island, but let me know what it looks like.

Cheers,

PS: Why was your wife wearing jewellery in the water??:nono: She's seen your loot so she must know better.
