Horseshoe Bay is heavily sanded in, today. Platinum hunt suspended until it clears.:thumbdown:

I got skunked at Horseshoe Bay this morning. I arrived at the beach to find Mark swinging away already but I doubt he found much. He certainly didn't find the platinum because he would have shown it to me before he left, Great Guy! The surf was eerily quiet this morning, just a couple of Heinekein bottle caps. I started to think that my Excal had turned into a PI unit.
I switched to Jobson's Cove after an hour or so just so I could find Something, ANYTHING! I managed a little over a buck in clad but that's it. Time to change tactics again.
