This is not a detector find but a co-worker's friend, who was a Vietnam vet passed away and my friend was going through his Vietnam medals and did not know what this was. I am always telling my co-worker about the whatzit forum and he asked if I would post this. If it is not ok to post something that is not a detector find please let me know. Thanks Randy

The two hands remind me of the thing martial artists do before a fight...putting the cupped hand over the fist, but these are both fist-like...Still thinking some type of martial arts badge, but from Viet-Nam War stuff??? I have no idea???

HH,

He said it was in a box with his Vietnam stuff but was not sure if it was related to Vietnam or not. Thanks for the response GoGoGopher.

This image has been used by the Modern Woodmen of America as evidenced by this 1904 ribbon. Maybe this is a clue. Some type of fraternal order or lodge.

Does it have any writing on it or markings? Is there a pin on the back?

I believe it has something to do with the Masons but I couldn't find anything exactly like it.

My co-worker is out of town, when he returns I will have him look on the back, but I think you guys are on the right track with it being an organization. Thanks for looking. I will report back when he returns. Thanks Randy
