Hope I'm not opening a can of worms, but I saw a post about a New G2 on here. Is this true?

If this is true, what will the new ones have, and can the old ones be upgraded?

I talked with fisher about this G2 because I would wait for it before I buy the F19 . The guy I talk to said there will Not be a upgrade nor a new G2 . So that made my decision on the new F19 .

I bet you could put the F19 housing on a G2 shaft if you like the arrangement better.

That's funny cuz I have an email from First Texas telling me that there IS a new G2...expected in 2-6 months. PM me if you want to know who at FT told me...its someone who would definitely know

Sorry Dave, I hope this isn't causing any problems for you. I was just trying to find out because I only have so much to spend on new machines, and wanted to save up if one was coming out.

Nope Dave, it wasn't from you. Are YOU saying there is no new G2? If so why the conflicting info? G2 has been the best metal detector I have ever used hands down....just a bit more depth would be nirvana. Bill
