Here is a brief list of what I would like to see Fisher do in the new year:
1. Create a better website (Whites has the best one right now).
2. Concentrate more on the "old line" traditional Fisher units like the 1200 series and CZ series. ( They are making too many "star wars" looking units).
3. Offer a complete line of accessories to include: hats, shirts, coffee mugs, iron on patches, carry bags, etc , (in addition to coils, headphones, etc.)
4. Design a new catalog!!!
5. Listen to these chat rooms ( find out what the real users want) not just produce a line of "quick sell" detectors.
Please understand that these are not criticisms but they are observations from over 20 years of visiting with fellow detectorists in the hobby. Sometimes the engineers don't even metal detect as a hobby so input from the "veterans" can really help. I think this is one of the biggest mistakes that detector companies make because they need to know what we want to see in the new product introductions.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Happy Hunting, RDF
