Hoover coin / token???

I was curious about this one. I found this about a week ago and it was about 6-8 inches down in a large local park. It was in an abandond picnic area.
Strong signal. The coin token says" 31st President USA 1929-1933 Herbert Hoover" lots of text on the reverse. Opinions?? Thanks in advance.

of presidential coins sold by Reader's Digest or etc. They were sold in a wood frame with red cloth background, and I believe they go through to President Ike, not sure. I have this collection stored in a box in the attic somewhere. Kelley (Texas) :)

I fould the Geroge Washington version of this set. A better look at them here:

These are the Shell oil tokens from quite a few years back. (aluminum) The print on the reverse is different than your token. I neglected to place an object next to these for comparison. They are about the size of a quarter. I recall a similar presidential series from Sunoco maybe 7 to 10 years ago. I have some, but can't find them right now. I believe they are closer to the size of a half dollar and brass colored. Good find....Gil
