Last July, I attended a Newburyport Massachusetts / Coast Guard Ceremony, celebrating Newburyport becoming an Official Coast Guard City, due to it long history affiliated to the Coast Guard. The First, Revenue Cutter "MASSACHUSETTS" was built in Newburyport, thus Newburyport is also the original "Home" of the Coast Guard.
The Ladies dressed vintage style, in Our Patriotic Colors were part of the ceremony, supposed to represent 1940's pin-up Girls! The Gentleman on the left is complimenting the Coast Guard Honor Guard. He is Admiral Dan Abel, in command of Coast Guard District One. ( New Jersey coast to the Canadian Border above Maine.

OH! The Ladies look great ! Don't you think?

Do you attend very many? There appears to be lots of sea history where you live, and it would be hog heaven for a photographer. Thanks for sharing! Kelley (Texas) :)
