You're so lucky!! I would love to be able to hitch up a trailer and go MDing. Unfortunately I don't have a trailer. Good luck on your hunt!!!!

The NW beaches have been pounded for weeks with rough seas and high waves but it looks like it might be clearing up next week. Just came back from Navarre Beach . I didnt hunt, just too rough and an on-shore wind . Nobody in the water. Plenty sanded in, but lots of people on the beach and I'm sure Panama City Beach will be loaded all this weekend too. Early or late sand hunting should be good. Your timing might be right on to cash in on both water and sand. Good hunting.

No Grand kids this trip, to long from Mom and Dad for the little ones and the older ones are still in school. We will be celebrating our Anniversary while we are there. 40 wonderful years, and counting. HH

Congrats on the 40 years. I was at Mexico Beach three years ago. It did not seem to be very heavily hunted (I dug room key after room key) but did not turn up any quality jewelry during that long weekend. Panama City gets a lot more vacation traffic than Mexico Beach does.

Good luck to ya!
