Hello everyone,
I would appreciate any information on building a hookah outfit, I understand the carbon monoxide problem and the requirement of an oiless compressor but I don't know the size of the engine or compessor that should be matched or the procesure to put it together.

thanks,
Boomer

do you have a "c" card. If you don't get one. The reason I ask is I too thought I would try hooka (no air fills, much less equiptment,Bla-bla.... Well I got cirtified and I,m WAY glad I did.breathing presurized air is dangerous. Also, do you know the % of c-monoxside your body absorbes under presure increases exponentually with the depth you dive? get the knowlage or become a stytistic.

I know a couple guys that use a dive tank strapped to a inner tube. There is a web site called www.JSINK.com that sells long hose second stages...they work real well and in less than 20' of water will last a long time. G'luck. Kieth-Tx

I have had plenty of people try to get me to take them out with my hookah and I always ask if they are Certified. Plenty are not and I don't take them.

Some want a hookah because they can not get a tank filled so it was a good question. I use a Brownie Third lung with twin pistons and it has a three and a half horse engine. Works great

Hello Boomer,
Go into Google website, Punch in www.keeneengineering.com/pamphlets/howhookah.html. This will explain an introduction to Hookah Diving, and the systems available to try. My hubby (who is a certified diver for ovwer 18 years) is in the process of setting one up, mostly for underwater detecting, and hopefully I'll be doing it too one day.
Cheers Angela:)
