Honey Bee on Flower...........

Kelley (Texas)

New member
This picture was taken on my patio deck with a small obsolete pocket camera, Canon Powershot A720iscamera. Kelley (Texas) :)

here in South Texas. We usually call them Killer Bees. I don't think you folks will ever get them because of your colder winters. I have never seen one, but don't want to see one, they are bad news.

The quality of this picture is just so so. but would have been much better if taken with a DSLR with a good prime lens, in my humble opinion. Kelley (Texas) :)

When I read the subject line, I was excited. I love seeing photos of bees or any type of insect on flowers. I love it. Thank you!!!!

It goes to show that even if you have a pocket camera, you can still get a good picture. We like looking at the photos and you don't have to have a big DSLR camera to post on here.

I have one of those Canon Powershots. When I got backpacking it's the camera I take. I think they take great photos and they're certainly compact.

I have the little Canon PowerShot ELPH110 HS and also an old Casio Exilim 7.2 that takes amazing pictures for a pocket camera. They're always close by for that special shot with the dogs around.

I think I'm going to have to replace mine soon. The shutter sticks about half the time when I turn it on and I have to thump it to get it to open all the way. I've messed up some good shots because I forgot to see if it was open all the way and the photo was black bars on both sides. I've tried to clean it, but it doesn't seem to help.
