Homesite hunt

We got a chance to do a quick hunt out at the homesite yesterday. Found quite a bit of trash, and some buried barbed wire. High grasses made swinging a coil difficult at best.

The pipe collar was found lying on the surface in the midst of the piles of rubble.

The best find was a plastic duck decoy that I haven't gotten a pic of yet LOL

Thanks for looking

Are you hunting in some the states west of the Mississippi River?? The reason I ask is because I can see in the 1st pic. one of those field water thingys. When we drove to CA last Christmas from Tn those were about the only things we saw throughout all the states between the Mississippi River and Denver.

I hunt in Eastern Iowa near Muscatine.. This site is near the Cedar River

We use them for irrigation in Wisconsin, too, particularly in the central part of the state where the soil is sandy and dries out quickly.
