Homemade Long Arm Sand Scoop

I made this to help me with my bad back while doing some dry sand searching.
Obviously this will not work too well in wet sand......I believe it would snap the handle real quick.
I still carry a small extendable handle shovel for when I need the strength of a deep dig.

I really appreciate the effort involved to build a scoop! Makes a fellow respect the pro-made mfgs out there...It must be Winter! Lots of homemade scoop posts will be showing up!:clapping:
