Thought I would post about a house site I check out once in a while and seems like I always get something. I have used the Sovereign Elite, the Sovereign GT the last couple of time and even used my wife's MXT plus my Explorer there, but the GT is the one I am using now that i want the coins i have missed before with the other detectors. I do dig some trash too as the GT seems to be more sensitive and can get fooled by iron more as I like those deep iffy signals.
I have been to this site 14 different times from a half hour to a hour and a half each time and mostly been between the sidewalk and the street as the front yard has been filled. This is also a corner lot and has seen other detectors too I have been told. The area in front is 100 feet by 12 feet and the side one is 50 by 10 feet, so it is not a very big site.
I went there today for a while and went real slow listening to the change in threshold trying to find deep one or those next to trash. I got 8 Memorial pennies a clad dime a Wheaties that looks like a 1910 that was in good shape, but badly corroded and a 1920 buffalo nickle that was with iron. The buffalo was only 7 inches deep, but was iron beside it and by going slow I could hear it. The Wheaties too had a good tone, but then nulled right away and when I pinpointed and check it just nulled. I had to wiggle the coil where I heard the good tone and turn a little in disc to pinpoint it as all metal just seen the iron.

The total for this yard so far is:
134 new coins
20 Wheaties with one a 1924D and one a 1909 VDB
4 nickles with 3 of them Buffalo's and a war nickle
3 dimes with 2 of them barber dimes and one merc dime
Got many misc items like a old hotel key fob, some old metal toy cars and even a old metal wheel off a toy train and 2 of the hub caps or dust cover off the model T's.
The last 2 times I was there was with the GT and got a barber dime last time and this time the buffalo by going real slow and listening close.
