Home Made Miskito Trap

Home Made Miskito Trap = 1cup of water / 1/4 cup brown sugar / 1 gram yeast / 1 two liter pop bottle.

Add brown sugar to hot water and let dissolve & cool. Cut 2 liter pop bottle in half and insert top half upside down into bottom half. Tape halves together. Leave room for mixture and air. Pour in water/sugar mix and then pour in yeast. Do not mix. Cover outside of bottle w/ black ( anything ) and place bottle away from recreation area. Miskitos are drawn to dark colors. Supposedly this works. Give it a go and let me know. Okay?

You know I hadn't thought of that Mike and I didn't realize until a moment ago that I spelled mosquito wrong. Guess my mind was somewhere else?

Also if you put it somewhere - try not to let rain fill it up. I made one and set it inside a large basket type trash container so the bugs have easy access and was ablr to put a board over the top to keep rain from falling into the container. Going to make another one and shove it in with the neighbors stacked tires where mosquitoes are breeding.
