Heck you can get nylon nuts/bolts for coil mounting, Tennis Racket grip replacements and all kinds of unique things the Detector Dealers don't stock at the above mentioned stores. Maybe we should ban all their names as well. PVC Pipe and Duct Tape (tm) as well.

If its a unique item its not going to hurt the sponsors. Ain;t there a little Red Green in ya somewhere sflback??

Was wondering on how the process went for the person who sent his E Trac in? I would appreciate a PM on it as I sent in my DFX later the he did, and was wondering if he got his back. I sent an email to the orange peel company to see if the protection is just over the screen or the whole front panel, it only covers the screen. I was hoping it would cover the entire front panel so I will probably stay with my Minelab slip on cover.

I cut the plastic out of my control box cover and put the new peel on my screen. At least I don't have that dang glare from the plastic and the plastic still covers the buttons.

So there is no glare on your orange peel? Does the orange peel extend far enough around the edges of the screen to where you might be able to glue the vinyl cover to it around that perimeter providing an adequate aqua barrier?
