Thought the power plug-in receptacle was the problem with the DELL laptop not booting up. Seems it's the motherboard.
.... anyone got some suggestions on a laptop brand other than DELL that may last more than almost two years? Don't want a MAC .... sorry Ray.
Butch, I know you are a Dell guy, I'd like to talk with you on laptops before I make another purchase. Brian, you know this stuff too, what's your suggestion .... any others out there with some suggestions for a replacement laptop without breaking the bank?
I use the laptop to do primarily for travel and at home E-mail, net surfing, light photo editing, and checking in with the store via the DVR security cam system, Skype to Skype web cam communications and skype phone calls to land lines and cell phones.
Not a PC gamer at all, haven't ever burned a CD or DVD on the laptop I had .... although I could have if needed. Sometimes hook up the laptop at the store to do inventory stuff via our network.
