The Coinstrike is it if i could have 5 6 i would get em best misunderstood unit ever. This thing pops out coins like rocks love it it will be with me till she drops then ill try to buy another .If your looking for that perfect coin getter this is the one thanks all.

Just wanted to say I had a Coinstrike and loved it! Yes you dig some bottle caps and washers that are heavily corroded, but you also get a lot of coins! I traded for the T2 which is a great little machine as well! You can dig 22 shells deeper than six inches and thats with the discrimination at 21 and sensitivity at 60. I can crank up the sensitivity to 85 and I need a bigger shovel to dig deep. Detectors have come a long way from my first machine I had which was a Jetco Mustang. It was high tech at the time and I dug up all kinds of cool stuff. I think we get to use to everything in today's world and forget where we were in the past. I know I can find just as much with that old Jetco as some of the guys with the newer machines, because they don't slow down and learn what the detector is doing and Dig. Great to read these post and see everyone's opinions. Thanks to Bill Ladd for all his work and to all the rest of you guys for spending the time to post your experiences so new people can make decisions on purchasing a detector. Oh yeah, thanks Rusty for the T2 and hope the Coinstrike rewards you with lots of treasures! Thanks everyone and keep digging the past and preserving history.

I too have seen guys with ancient machines SPANK guys with newer machines as the guys with the antiques know their machines inside out, and KNOW what its telling them. Experience in this regard is worth its weight in GOLD. Thats one of the reasons I'm always dismayed when I see a guy buy a machine...use it for two weeks, and then dump it because it doesnt seem to perform to his/her liking. it takes 6 months MINIMUM to really get the "feel" for a machine..and YEARS to truly master it. I've had my F75 for over a year and a half now, and STILL learn a little bit every time I go out. Great post! Streak!

I agree, Streak. I've had mine for a year, now , and like you, I learn things everytime I use it. Sometimes it reminds me of things I forgot, so I re-learn as well.

I totally agree with you RLS, The Coin$trike is a great MD Since owning one ( 8 months ) I have found so many coins with this machine here in the UK. I have to say if there are any coins out there I find them. The C$ gives a nice clear tone most of the time, I am still learning and learn every time I go out. What A Machine !
