Just cruising the wooded areas around the old logging camps here I have stumbled across can dumps. Sometimes you get lucky and find early 1900s bottles, mostly broken, but not all the time. Did score some Clorox brown jugs once!! Other than the muradic 50/50 wash what else is done to finalize the clean?
 
A rinse and brush then put on the shelf. Some guys tumble them but I have not invested in that gear YET...
