yes IT IS MORE OF A WARE PLATE . WHEN YOU RUB A HOlE OR CRACK IT AND IT WILL NOT STAY ON. COVER BOTTOM OF COIL WITH EPOXY.when you wear out the cover. WAX COIL WITH CAR WAX AND INSIDE OF COVER IT WILL BE EASY ER TO TAKE ON AND OFF YOU MAY NEED TO USE VINYL TAPE TO HOLD ON COIL 2 WRAPS LEFT AND RIGHT OF CENTER Waxing coil will make for trouble free removal. good hunting
