fun outta Christmas decorating. I always put on a great Christmas CD, and do what I feel like doing. You would be proud of me this year Royal. After telling the girls I wasn't going to decorate much, they all appeared a week or so back, and helped. They actually did a pretty good job.

I'm at home alone again this weekend, and have just been piddlin' around adding a few things. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here!

Call Mary, tell her to retire and come up there and keep you warm! What's wrong with that woman anyway???

Stay warm! :)

Once it got to 15 degrees when working high iron, I had trouble dressing for it. If you started to sweat you were done for the the day. Seemed like you never got warm again until you hit the shower at home for 1/2 hour. If you took you gloves off and grabbed the steel you hands would freeze to it if sweating. Thats when I would remind myself about continuing on with my education after high school. Then spring would come and I was good to go again until the next winter.

That ought to freeze those lakes over now Royal. We had light snow here this morning, all was white but its all gone now. I guess more coming in tomorrow and Sunday night with a coastal storming joining in with it. should be interesting. Those usually produce ICE for us.
I prefer snow to ice any day. I'm hoping its all snow for my daughter when she arrives Wednesday morning from Charleston SC. Time to start hiding micro caches in the local mall or casino's... They have started here caches where they are done with web cam. You have to have someone at home, capture you at the choosen spot the web cam is looking at, then send it to the person who placed it, to get credit for the cache. There is one up a UCONN I want to hit...

winter is very early here. I just came back from a trip to the local store and 4x4 all the way in slushy snow on top of ice. Kinda fun watching the idiots tho, they start a hill to slowely and then tromp on it partway up:lol: 5 in the ditch on 2 miles of highway. It will start to warm up and rain here by sunday night hopefully.

want funny, ............ come to Arkansas during the first falling snowflake. Now THAT"S a hoot! I just stay inside, or walk outside in it. Everyone goes to the grocery and clears the shelves. You would think we would be barricaded in our homes for a month, when in truth, it is usually gone by the next day! The problems start if we get ice first, and THEN snow! And that's usually what happens.

Uh, a photo would suffice for the time being tho!

Snow is pretty much an uncommon thing there. If they do get some, the snow usually disappears quickly. However, for that brief time, most people are kinda crazy about driving in it.

If you have had some experience in snow driving, as Wayne does, then you can laugh at the neophytes.
