Hollywood Swingin' Baby! Five Hour Hunt Nets Four Rings...

Two gold and two silver.

Hunted from 8:45 PM to 1:45 AM. Lots of deep clad and a few hot spots. Did really well hunting the incoming tide when I stayed longer after the low tide than I usually do. Saw David, Darren, and Ina there and we all hunted together for a little while until spreading out. I found the two gold rings within 10 minutes of each other, near about 11th or 12th street and Ina checked them both with her new Excal to catalog the sound of them.

The class ring is from Indianapolis and should be able to be traced...Catherdral High School, with initials in it.

The one silver ring says "True Love Waits" on it and is the third I have found like that in 3 years.

Started to cancel my plans to detect due to impending storms but went out and risked it. As it turned out, a decent amount of lightning and a little brief rain but no show stopper. Glad I went!

Yes, there were some dolphins, but I feel like we got ripped off. There were only a couple of sets of 2 and they were hard to see because it was so rough. And because of that they also weren't coming in as close to shore. When I was out there the other morning it was de3ad calm and there were dolphins galore and you could have hit them with a rock. Not that one would WANT to hit them with a rock, but you know...

We'll have to try it again when were not on the outgoing tail of a storm.

Got my new RTG straight shaft, got it together, and the battery is charging. Heading out tonight to do it again.

Good hunting.

Everyone should know--if you can see lightning, you CAN be struck.
Something to put into the risk vs reward computation.

Great Finds Mike, Lady luck has been smiling on you lately. It never ceases to amaze me the stuff that people loose. Keep up the good work!!
