Went back to the same park and gridded some more. Only modern coins, so I went looking around trees in the edge of the woods. Paydirt!

Da Silvah! 1962 Young head Elizabeth Quarter. Right at the base of a old tree in the woods. Just cause a place is overgrown now doesn't mean it always was.
 
My first Indian head penny was around trees at the edge of a heavily hunted play ground. TheGeorgiaCanuck offers a good reminder to hunt the edges!
