Holey Two-center...

Hello All,

I had permission to hunt a friend's farm house. I think it is probably 1870's vintage.

I was hoping for some older silver but twas not to be.

IHs 1865, 1881, 1893. Two center is 1864, real nice shape except for the holes. Not sure if it was shot or punched.

Holed coins are great!!!! Especially when you can tell the hole was made with a square nail.

Congrat's on some nice finds. CW period coins are a great find. The holed 2 center piece is cool also. You did well. What detector were you using?
