Holey Two-center...

Hello All,

I had permission to hunt a friend's farm house. I think it is probably 1870's vintage.

I was hoping for some older silver but twas not to be.

IHs 1865, 1881, 1893. Two center is 1864, real nice shape except for the holes. Not sure if it was shot or punched.

Way to go Chris! I hit a school yard yesterday and got 17 coins...a couple of wheats in the mix. The rest were memorials and clad. The Explorer lives on!!

Wow! Someone didn't want to lose that two center and they lost it anyway! LOL
Great finds!
Did it come up as a copper wheat back penny?
