Hoist The Colors !!!! :tesoro:

Took the girls to the lake. While they swam I spent some quality time with the Stingray and the new scoop.
It was a solid 7+ hours of detecting. I have really wanted to detect this fresh water beach hard since its about 4' down from normal and that is allowing me to hit spots that would usually be way above my head and require scuba gear to search.

Well without getting into play by play. The neck to nostril deep waters are where the goods were coming from save a few earrings. About an hour into it I scooped my second water found ring. And boy did it look the part of a water find ;) Do not know if its silver yet but it looks like its been there for an age and it isn't flaking so that is a good sign.

One of the last targets of the day was literally nostril deep and I was left with the impression that the Pirate Gods approved of my relentless hunting style. They honored me with a ring thats sporting the pirate colors. And I earned that sucker! Yes it fits me too!

Hoist those colors boys, Hope the hunting did as well by you all today.

Charlie is sure does help on the not dehydrating aspect. But I will say this, after adding my new scoop to the line up ( 6" dia. Stainless ). Man it is quite a bit of work. Not complaining just saying, that scoop with a mouth full of rocks and sand takes it toll :D
My arms and shoulders are telling me all about today

Thanks for the compliments guys, it was a good weekend.
