Hobbled up and in Pain --- Just had to get out! :whites:

I found 3 Indian Head penny's (2 of which are soaking in hydrogen peroxide) and the other is an 1883.
I also found a Chinese Cash Coin and an 1891-s Seated Liberty Quarter.

Congrats on the very nice hunt!

Sorry to hear you are hobbled up. I hope you get better soon, Beale.

Thanks Beale,

I am just finishing up a course of one-time treatment with Prednisone.
It's a corticosteroid that I was treated with about 7 years ago and I am feeling much better but the torn ligament (my diagnosis) is still trying to find its way back to a norm of some sort.

Great finds, nwdetectorist, and sorry to hear of your injury. You can check out your Chinese coin on the web...there are a few sites, one is a Calgary Museuam (Ithnk) site, anyway, if you persevere you will find a list of pictures and descriptions of coins where you can identify your coin by the inscriptions on it...you may find it's a lot older than any US or European coin you will find. I found one in a park in the town I live here is Aus. and it dates back to somewhere between 1662 and 1722, by far the oldest coin I have found, andf its in great condition. They are commonly found at and near goldfields in Australia, but we dont have any goldfields where I live. It's interesting to look them up, anyway. Congrats. again and hope you're well again soon. Sapper.

Your old back may be hurtin but finding those kind of coins has to make it feel better. At least temporally.. I have coin hunted for 37 years and found many many seated coins, but have yet to find a seated quarter  I'm jealous!! Good finds!! CONGRATS!!

Chinese Cash Coin has been identified.

CTRL-F on the following page for: S-1425 and you will see the coin listed.

Emperor SHENG TSU
AD 1662-1722
reign title: K'ANG-HSI, AD 1662-1722

KIANG HSI CASH
The coinage of K'ang-Hsi is a direct continuation of the last issue of Shun-chih.

PRIMARY SERIES (AD 1662-1722): The two principal mints in Peking have have "BOO" on the left, and the mint name on the right, both in Manchu script. All other mints have the mint name twice, in Manchu on the left and Chinese on the right. The size of these coins vary significantly from coin to coin. Please note that we are currently up grading this section, and for those coins for which we indicated "value not yet determined", they are not necessarily scarce and we will be adding the values in the not too distant future (a few of them are rare).

So I guess it is just as cool, at least for me.
But DANG, only worth a dollar maybe?
