And boy was it an adventure! In this episode we see that some cows just wanna sit in the shade and eat sod, some amazing mining historical views from over 100 years ago, a drought stricken area, oh, and a rattler!:surprised: This is another installment of the trail system I have been hiking while visiting family way up north, and slowly but surely I am finishing it... one step at a time. :) So sit back, make some popcorn, pop open a can of soda and enjoy the adventure!:jump::clapping:

PS: The link leads to a Youtube page I have for my hiking adventures. This video includes a lot of video clips, but also quite a few photos of the area I was hiking in. It is some truly beautiful country, and I hope everyone enjoys.

Also, feel free to leave a comment and tell me what you thought. Good or bad.

Hiking in the Gold Country

It appears that someone had already done away with that rattlesnake. I wonder why they did not just go around the snake, why kill it? That is some beautiful country. Thanks for sharing, very enjoyable viewing! Kelley (Texas) :)

It could have been a horseback rider that killed it in fear of it spooking their horse, or just a hiker who did not want to have to worry about it on a return trip back down the trail. At first I thought it was alive, and jumped up! But after looking at it a second time I realized it was dead. I didn't touch its head with my hands, but instead used my hiking pole. HH

Great video , really enjoy your videos of your hikes . Very good .
