Hit the surf lane for 4 hours today

Got to the beach at 12:00 for the 1:15 low tide.It was very cool and the wind was blowing hard out of the north.No other beach pirates on the beach today.I did run into a dry sander from Ohio(Mike)down here on vacation but not had much luck getting to detect.

There were a few small cuts up on the north end of the beach but no gold or silver for me today.

The surf was rough as bricks and the beach was pretty bare.

Found this big old bird sitting on the beach but it would not let me get close to see how bad it was injured.Does anybody know what it is ?

Well had a nice day even though it was a little on the cool side. Here is my nut for today.

the wind, the tide never got off good.
