Hit The Lane For The Wee-hour Low Tide...Pretty Bleak, BUT...

...did manage a nice gold band.

Not exactly a target-rich environment...it's usually a lot better by now but the beach was sanded up pretty good...big slant, heavy surf, no low tide to speak of. I had planned to hunt from 12:30 to 4:30 for the 2:20 low tide but packed it in after only 2 hours shortly after finding the ring, as the target trail had gone VERY cold. May try it again tonight. HH!

I would think things should really heat up beginning today since this is the week of the 4th. People are probably pouring in for a vacation week this week.

I expect to see something nice posted after you hunt tonight.

Well, it's a little slow right now due to the weather. Today is a so-so beach day at best. It's overcast and threatening rain, though I'm sure there are a lot of folks out there anyway. Still, it's usually a lot better by now this time of year. The sand is heaped up on the beach too...at least it was last night. Things can change quick down there though and hopefully they will. There's ALWAYS stuff there. The trick is running your coil over it! :)

... that aint too shabby. Lets not get greedy there, me boy!
