Last week I dug 2 lead rail car door seals. Today I dug 19 of those babies. Many have the railroads on them, Richmond, Fredericksburg, & Potomac RR, Petersburg RR, Richmond& Petersburg RR ect. Last week the 2 I found had US stamped on them. I dont know what these are worth but they sure are a nice part of civil war history to find. Also dug several different style dropped bullets including a very chewed up one. I think I'd rather chew juicyfruit. Is the top left bullet Confederate? Also found an 1864 IH. This cornfield has been a blast to hunt. Hope the weather holds.

The RR seals are cross over collectables: Civil War and Railway/Railroad. Military Railway items are good finds. Good hunting, David @ Dixie
