No, not the squeezins...
Unfortunately the farmer shelled the corn leaving the stalks standing. Why this Field? he cut all the rest.
Anyway, I found where the homestead used to be by listening for the iron grunts (OK Bill they do kinda sound like farts) and managed just a few goodies. The IH is a 1902, and along with the reeds, thimble and top to a womans compact case there is a pretty neat brass door knob plate that looks like it could have come off Bill's Mayan ruins site. No Busts or Oak trees but there were a couple of large black walnuts along one edge of the field. Does that count?
