Take care!

I can't emphasize it enough -= get the nicks and the gold will come ! Good luck tonight. That ring sure looks good.
Are you close enough to the beaches that you could go after the storms anytime ? I'd love to be able to do that. Steve in so az

I'm about 15 minutes or so from the beach. Yep, the best time to go would be after Nor'easters; heavy storms with high winds that can cause lot's of beach erosion. I've tried that, but it's all a matter of timing. Having the "time" to get there when conditions are optimum :)

But conditions change daily with the winds and the tides... the sand is always moving. The best chance for gold is during the low tides when you can get out further. I have the tide tables for my area on my Palm Pilot, so I plan ahead whenever possible. For instance, next weekend is prime time!

Didn't make it out tonight (possible t-storms...), but Vicky and I will go tomorrow.

Regarding the nickels... I know :) Get the nickels and get the gold! That's why I love it when I pick them up; I know I'm doing something right

...you found more on that one hunt than I found all week at Myrtle Beach! Hmm...maybe it's time to buy a Minelab. That is so cool that Vicki is going to hunt with you. Hope she finds a bunch.
