Hit some more gold on my"diet of pulltabs"

Hey all.I am still hammering a section of bleachers at my local high school.I got another "perfect" round tab signal, that turned out to be a 14k ring. The ring is shaped like a goldfish. It's amazing that my style of hunting has changed.I used to get excited by coin signals, and dig the pulltabs to stop masking coins. I now get excited by pulltab signals, and dig the coins to get them" out of my way",so I can find the gold! FYI there is a CZ70 for sale on E bay. HH.

One has to have patience to get gold rings especially on land..I know my first year dug a lot and came up with 10 gold rings in my first year in local parks. Next year I met a silver hunter and we traveled and silver coins were my cup of tea and found many with a few gold rings mixed in...So indeed dial in relic and water, gold nugget hunting and the hobby offers many variations.
Good luck in your ventures as you surely have the patience and equipment to find the gold rings and may your next one have a big diamond or perhaps ruby setting...

The first year CZ's came with a white coil...Just means its an old coil and not the original as all CZ70's came with a black coil. CZ coils rarely seem to go out with the exception of the wiring on the connector which is usually caused by hipmounting. So perhaps this was one of the few black coils that went out, original lost or damaged scenario...for what its worth white coils work as well as the black ones but the coil wire is shorter and is hipmountable just don't give you as much length to body mount..

Unfortunately.....you have to get 'used' to the taste of pulltabs, 'cause gold rings and pendants are in the same conductivity range as pulltabs. As far as I'm able to tell, there seems to be very little 'audio' variance between the pulltabs and gold rings. You might try to find locations where the loss of rings occur, just like your High School bleachers. My favorite locations to hunt for gold jewelery are the popular swimming beaches with a underwater detector.
