Hit an old church lot this a.m. fill dirt city....

Jim C (Mich)

found one spot where I got some goodies. Had my hopes up for this place, as I always do but when I dug a memorial cent at 8 inches I knew I was in trouble. The church spot dates back to the 1840s. Oh well I still covered the place good and hit one small spot that gave up some silver and one lone Indian head. Did get the rough conditioned "good for" token. Some nice shape wheaties and that was it. A beautiful day here in southern lower Michigan. Perfect weather. I hope I can get out again some time this weekend but gonna spend some time with the family.

...your words leave me with great comfort and pleasure. I esteem your kindness and genorosity with the utmost humility. To fathom the depth of my appreciation for your acknowledgments would be a hard task to accomplish. I accept your words as proof of an underlying nature of purity of soul on the part of the writers. As I close, my thoughts of grace and beauty for your accolades reduce me to the mere man that God has made me. Regards, Sir Jimmy of DetectorLand.
