Met a buddy of mine at 6:30 am and hunted until the law saw us swinging away. I had a Little problem with that.
We had to leave but it was ok to jog, surf and walk you dogs and take pictures. I briefly asked? Moved to the next beach
and had to leave and was escorted to the boarder of the next town. We looked back at the law and he watched us walk
up onto the beach in the next town. Later we heard the law chasing walkers from the streets but they left us alone on the beach.
It may have been we were hiding behind very large sand piles that were being dumped at the water line. I ran out of energy
and we gave up. I have reports of the same from the next town north of where we hunted. The conditions were ok way too
much sand way too fast. Was digging in the hard pan and found too many live 50 cal rounds so I left them and moved on!
I won't be getting out any time soon it was a lot of work to keep moving. I did use the new PP lock and it works really well on the beach.
I did not use the new saltwater program.

Nice finds always nice to have some one to protect and serve you. We don't have those problems much on the beaches I hunt. I have hunted after a few storms and never had a problem. If you are there you are good some times they will not let you to the beach if you are not stayi g there roads are closed but if you can walk to the beach you are good to go.

.50 cal rounds? You mean like old aircraft ammo?
Yes pretty big stuff 6 inches long 3/4 dia. I was finding them in the clay layer 12 icnches down they came from a beach replenishment about 25 years ago. There used to be 10 ft of sand on them. but the storm took all that away. The sand is coming back a 3 inches per tide cycle they will be out of reach in a few days!
