This is my second time afield with my new A T Pro and two days in a row it has sniffed out a piece of silver for me. Hooked up with my Etrac swinging buddy this morning at an old inner city park that he, two other fellow club members and I have scoured before several times. Pickings have been lean there of late, but it is so loaded with bottle caps, can slaw and other trash that we knew there were still some good targets left if we were curious enough and could get the right angle of a few. 15 minutes into the hunt he held up a Mercury dime he had just dug. Not to long after that I got a high 80's reading and popped 3 2" deep clad quarters in the same hole. About 30 minutes to quitting time I got a very weak, but repeatable high tone in some fairly thick and tall grass. From 6" deep I scooped out my 1 piece of silver for the day. A nice looking 1943 Mercury dime. Along the way, I did manage 3 40's era wheat cents and some clad and cents and least I forget, a good handful of trash. My buddy ended up with the 1 Merc and 5 wheat cents, of consequence. As you can see, I haven't got the nickels zeroed in yet. Gotta do that. I like finding nickels. I again was in pro zero, iron audio on and running 8 sen with the 5x8" coil. HH jim tn
