General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Hissy Fit Over Backwoods Detectors

Richard, I love to see that positive feedback on you on forums you don't even sponsor. The guy who runs that forum gave you a little free adverstiement with his hissy fit. Maybe he needs to come over here and read the feedbacks on this forum instead of stomping his feet and acting like a tough guy.
 
i have spoken to richard at backwoods detectors several times..when i am searching for something he sends me links to his used unit page or a special price on new stuff...seems like a stand up guy....what dealer is going to do anything wrong...

i have posted feedback on that sight as well for others...and i just get some gobbledygook in place of the name....i really dont understand...supposed to be a hobby....fun and enjoyable hobby...alas...for some it is a sideline or business

if i was a dealer/hobbyist....man i would be selling everything at cost plus 10%....i would sell quantity....there is my profit...at what cost...purchase plus shipping plus 10%....oooooooo...i digress

i like going to kelly co and looking around...i have bought there but not often...and to me an advertised price is just the goal to beat...Minelab has MAP pricing....i love minelab....but i am not paying 1400.00 for a metal detector....tech prices are supposed to come down...not go up...if i cannot save at least 200-300 i would buy used.......more digression...i apoligize...
