Hipmount Gmt??

Hi,Does anyone know how or is it even possible to hipmount the gmt? Dave

Dave, the standard rod-mount GMT can be chest or hip-mounted, with difficulty. White's DID make a factory chest mount version of the GMT (the one I use) but it has been discontinued. Perhaps some dealers still have them. Hope this helps; HH jim

I've been nagging White's ever since they switched boxes after the Goldmaster 3 to come up with some kind of rod/hip/chest design. I'd pay $1000 for a GMT is a Gold Bug box.

Being that a large amount of detectorist are retired and older people the companies should come out with a low price,light weight chest or hip mount adapter.Come on companies.Do your part to help the industry beside just selling detectors.You did a nice job Steve.I was thinking of just an open frame box for the XLT to make the chest mount.Maybe plastic or aluminum.
