What do you prefer a hip or chest mounted Excal II and why? Im new to water hunting and Im just getting my equipment set-up so any advice would be appreciated.

erik do you use the waterproof connectors on your excals? I think you use coils other than the WOT? if so which ones do you use and do you have any problems with them? Ive seen the coiltek ones and the belkin ones.

its Plugger strait shaft and Plugger belt but its a Minelab 5000 battery harness .i like it on my back as i use the Swingy Thingy bunji cord to take away coil weight and clipped it the front of the vest and would be too much weight all on the front pulling forward if i had the detector tube on the front also.very easy to use.take right hand ,reach behind you ,take 2nd knob turnes it on and sets threashold and start swinging!Neil said:that is a clean setup Bling, is that the one plugger sells?
