Hip mount for the E-trac

Steve from Ohio

New member
Does anyone know of a hip mount for the E-trac?

I was swinging the E-trac for about 6 hours yesterday and my arm did get sore. I did have to stop every once in a while to rest.

I used to have an Eagle Spectrum with the same problem. I bought a hip mount for that and problem solved.

Is there a hip mount available and if not, is there any market for one out there?

I was thinking if not available, I would come up with one. I have a few ideas.

My guess is that the control head/battery/handle weighs in at around 3 pounds. The coil and shaft weighs in at 2 lbs plus.

I figure that a good snap in mount and a good handle with a connector wire between the control head and coil should do it.

I think I will go with the chest harness rather than try to hip mount.

Whatever works to get the job done...

Good luck with that.
